◆  Strategy Tips

· How to ease into S Equipment
S Equipment has a variety of armaments, and mastering them all at once is very difficult.
At first, we recommend setting Assault to Auto (set the initial state to Auto in the config, or double-tap the Assault button at the start). Firing Assault Shoot at the right timing is important for putting up higher scores and for controlling enemy return fire at high ranks, but while you are still inexperienced, Auto is plenty effective.
Next in importance are Delayed Shift and the Raid. Activating Delayed Shift in bullet-heavy moments to make Counter Shift available, and knowing whether you can cut in with a Raid, are important for wiping out enemies efficiently and securing an escape route.
Ethereal Shift and Blade attacks in general are best left until you have grown somewhat used to handling them. Both can turn the game in your favor when used well, but using them at the wrong moment can just as often put you at a disadvantage.

· The Accessory "A Hold Canceller"
Because an enemy locked by Assault Shoot is not destroyed until the hit completes, there are moments where it acts as a shield for other enemies and delays their destruction. The "A Hold Canceller" is effective for resolving that dilemma: it makes shots and lasers pass through enemies whose life has dropped to 0 or below. You can destroy enemies more efficiently, but in exchange overkills become harder to land, so each gauge charges more poorly and scores become harder to grow.
The A Hold Canceller can be purchased in the Item Shop.

· Rank and Qualified
In AREA1-4, meeting certain conditions displays "QUALIFIED" at the end. At that point, depending on the stage you chose, the rank may rise. A higher rank makes enemy attacks fiercer but slightly raises the score you earn. It is also a condition for hidden elements to appear, so once you have some breathing room, aiming for high ranks can be fun.

· Hidden Bosses
STELLAVANITY has 3 kinds of hidden bosses, each of which can appear on every difficulty once you meet its set conditions. They boast vicious strength, but if simply clearing the game starts to feel unsatisfying, aiming to defeat them is one way to go.
Note that the most vicious of these, the "True Boss", will not appear until you have defeated it once — and only in Rule Mode with Auto Guard OFF.
